About the Role
Our client in Durban is seeking a highly skilled Senior Monthly Accountant to join their team. As a meticulous and experienced professional, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial health and stability of the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements
- Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to management
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records
- Provide support to the accounting team as needed
Requirements
- 3-5 years experience in a small/medium Accounting/Audit Firm
- Completed BCOM/Major in Accounting 3
- 3-year SAIPA Articles completed in an Accounting Firm
- 3-year CaseWare experience is compulsory
- Proficiency in Accounting Software Package (Intermediate for Quickbooks/Xero/Pastel/Sage/CaseWare)
- In-depth knowledge of accounting concepts/IFRS for SME/Trust
