About the Role
We are seeking a charismatic and elegant Front Desk Guest Relations Anchor/Duty Manageress to join our 5-star boutique hotel in Franschhoek. As the first point of contact for our high-profile guests, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service and ensuring a memorable stay. With your bubbly personality, excellent communication skills, and comfort dealing with VIP guests, you will be the perfect fit for this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival
- Manage front desk operations, including check-ins, check-outs, and room assignments
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery
- Maintain accurate records and reports using Opera Property Mgt Software
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities
- Perform evening and late shifts as required
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of previous 5* hotel experience as a Lodge Anchor, Receptionist, Concierge, Front Desk Agent or Liaison Officer Hotel Management, Front Office or Guest Relations
- Formal Tertiary Qualifications (not specified)
- Strong admin, organizational, financial and planning abilities
- Highly proficient in Excel, Word, and Opera Property Mgt Software
- Fully proficient in booking and reservations systems
