About the Role
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-driven Buyers Administrator to join our Sneakers & Trains team. This is a structured, execution-focused administrative role supporting the end-to-end buying process of third-party branded fashion and footwear.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide full administrative support across the buying cycle, including purchase order creation, amendments, and maintenance
- Track stock deliveries and manage reporting and critical path timelines
- Ensure accurate SKUs, pricing, delivery dates, and quantities across systems and the website
- Capture and maintain product data received from third-party brands, including images, descriptions, specifications, and barcodes
- Conduct website checks to ensure content accuracy (imagery, sizing, descriptions, specifications)
- Maintain dashboards, spreadsheets, and reports using Excel and Google Sheets
- Liaise daily with planning, operations, customer service, finance, and brand partners to resolve administrative queries
- Manage stakeholder communication to ensure deadlines and delivery timelines are met
Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric (tertiary qualification in Business Administration or similar advantageous)
- Experience in a Buyers Admin, Buying Support, or Merchandising Admin role preferred
- Exposure to the retail buying cycle, particularly third-party or branded buying, advantageous
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, lookups are essential)
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
- Comfortable working across multiple systems and adapting to evolving processes
