About the Role

Our client operates one of the finest luxury resorts in West Africa and is seeking a young, dynamic Food & Beverage Manager to join their team at their luxury resort in Ghana. As a key member of the F&B leadership, you will be responsible for leading from the front, on the floor with your team, providing outstanding guest experiences across four F&B outlets, meeting facilities for up to 200 guests, and various outside venues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead from the front, on the floor with your team at all times, ensuring exceptional guest experiences.
  • Develop and implement seasonal concepts and new revenue streams to drive business growth.
  • Manage a large multicultural team of 50+ staff, providing training and guidance as needed.
  • Create wine pairings, exciting new wine lists, cocktails, and menus that showcase your beverage knowledge.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef and Marketing team to develop promotions calendars and drive sales.
  • Implement cost control measures, manage inventory, and optimize F&B operations for maximum efficiency.
  • Develop and implement innovative marketing strategies to promote the resort’s F&B offerings.

Requirements

  • Proven track record in a similar position in 4 or 5-star hotels and/or resorts.
  • Prior African experience is preferred.
  • Strong beverage knowledge with ability to create wine pairings, exciting new wine lists, cocktails, etc.
  • Ability to manage a large multicultural team of staff.
  • Honest, very presentable, with excellent guest contact skills.
  • Outstanding trainer for F&B staff, with knowledge of menu items and offerings.

Salary & Benefits

  • Package salary up to US$3,200 net per month.
  • Accommodation on site.
  • Medical Cover.
  • Annual flight home (not applicable).
  • Performance-based bonus.
  • Single status only.
