About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to lead and support two Agile teams within the Middle and Back-office platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up ceremonies, facilitating planning and estimations, reporting on sprint progress, removing impediments, providing agile coaching, and administering the sprint backlog on Azure DevOps (TFS).
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and facilitate all Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Ensure that ceremonies are productive and focused on achieving sprint goals.
- Facilitate planning sessions to help teams estimate and prioritize work.
- Guide teams in breaking down complex tasks into manageable pieces.
- Monitor and report on sprint progress, ensuring transparency and visibility for all stakeholders.
- Use metrics and data to provide insights into team performance and areas for improvement.
- Identify and remove impediments that hinder team progress.
- Act as a buffer between the team and external distractions, ensuring the team remains focused on their goals.
- Provide coaching and mentorship to team members on Agile principles and practices.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration within the teams.
- Administer the sprint backlog on Azure DevOps (TFS), ensuring it is up-to-date and accurately reflects the team’s work.
Requirements
- Education: Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent technical qualification.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach.
- Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
- Experience with Azure DevOps (TFS) for backlog management and sprint tracking.
- Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) processes.
Qualifications
Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent technical qualification. ISTQB certified
