About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Building Services Engineer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, coordination, and delivery of electrical systems within building projects from concept through to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Design electrical systems including LV power distribution
- Lighting and lighting controls
- Emergency lighting
- Small power systems
- Fire alarm systems
- Data/ICT and security systems
- Prepare load calculations, cable sizing, and fault level studies
- Produce specifications, technical reports, and schedules
- Develop drawings using AutoCAD/Revit (BIM experience preferred)
- Attend client and design coordination meetings
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering
- 38 years of relevant building services design experience
- Strong knowledge of electrical distribution and lighting design
- Experience with design software (AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Dialux, ETAP, or similar)
- Understanding of energy efficiency and sustainable design principles
