About the Role
Doornkraal Agri, based in the Witzenberg Valley in Ceres, is a leading and well-established producer of apples, pears, nectarines and cherries. We are seeking a hard-working and task-orientated Maintenance Manager to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Development, implementation and management of maintenance plan (proactive & reactive maintenance & repairs)
- Effective maintenance and repair of all equipment, property, buildings, employee housing, workshops & vehicles
- Develop and manage project plans
- Procurement of stock and equipment / tools
- Cost / budget management in conjunction with General Manager: Production
- Management of maintenance team (including 2x Workshop Managers) and service providers
- Health & Safety management / compliance
Requirements
- Grade 12 Qualified Artisan / Trade test (preferably as Diesel Mechanic)
- Other relevant trade qualifications (Mechanical / Electrical)
