About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Wealth Manager / Wealth Advisor to join a boutique investment and wealth management firm in Johannesburg or Cape Town/Stellenbosch. This is a high-ownership role that requires strong relationship-building, commercial ability, and comfort operating without heavy structure.
Key Responsibilities
- Acquire, manage, and grow HNW/UHNW client relationships
- Develop personalised financial plans and investment strategies
- Manage and rebalance diversified client portfolios
- Provide advice across retirement, estate, tax, and investment planning
- Conduct market research and identify investment opportunities
- Deliver regular portfolio performance updates to clients
- Collaborate with internal specialists across tax, legal, and investment functions
- Drive client growth through sourcing, networking, and relationship expansion
Requirements
- Proven experience in wealth management or investment advisory
- Demonstrated ability to manage and grow client relationships
- Strong evidence of revenue generation or book growth
- Relevant BCom degree
- FAIS compliance
- Strong knowledge of financial markets, investment products, asset allocation, and risk management
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a trust-led advisory style
Qualifications
- CFP, CFA, CAIA, CA(SA), or actively working toward a relevant designation (not specified)
