About the Role

Our client, a blue chip company based in the Vaal Triangle, is seeking an experienced Smelter to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and monitoring smelting equipment to process raw materials into finished metal products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor smelting equipment to process raw materials into finished metal products
  • Monitor and adjust smelting process variables to maintain product quality
  • Perform basic troubleshooting for minor repairs on equipment
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and procedures in a smelting environment

Requirements

  • Experience operating industrial machinery or furnaces
  • Experience with specific smelting processes
  • Ability to work in a shift-based environment
  • Physical ability to lift and move heavy equipment and materials

Qualifications

Grade 12 or N3
