About the Role
The Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing daily warehouse activities, ensuring accurate stock control and compliance with company procedures. This is a hands-on role that requires strong leadership and problem-solving skills to maintain operational efficiency and service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily warehouse activities including receiving, storage, and dispatch
- Maintain accurate stock control and inventory records
- Conduct regular cycle counts and support stocktake processes
- Investigate stock discrepancies and implement corrective actions
- Ensure correct storage, labelling, and handling of stock
- Apply FIFO principles in stock management
- Monitor goods received and dispatched for accuracy and quality
- Maintain accurate system records and data integrity
- Ensure warehouse procedures and operational standards are followed
- Supervise and guide warehouse staff to ensure productivity and efficiency
- Address operational challenges and resolve day-to-day issues
- Maintain a safe and organised warehouse environment
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Requirements
- Diploma or qualification in Warehousing, Logistics, Supply Chain
- 6 – 8 yearsâ experience in warehouse, logistics, or inventory control
- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience preferred
- Proficiency in MS Office and warehouse / ERP systems & SAP
- Strong understanding of warehouse processes and stock control
