About the Role
We are seeking a driven and client-focused Commercial Sales Consultant to join our high-performing New Business Sales team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for promoting commercial insurance products and building strong relationships with brokers.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Portfolio Managers by promoting commercial insurance products
- Respond to new business leads and prepare accurate comparative quotes
- Negotiate rates and apply sound underwriting principles
- Upsell and provide comprehensive insurance solutions
- Work with internal teams to ensure efficient turnaround times
- Build and maintain strong broker and internal relationships
- Process new business and load new policies when required
Requirements
- Matric / Grade 12 FETC: Short-Term Insurance NQF 4 (150 credits)
- Higher Certificate in Short-Term Insurance NQF 5 (advantageous)
- RE5 completed
- Class of Business: Personal & Commercial Lines
- 2 years’ experience in Commercial Insurance sales & underwriting
