Kroonstad: General Manager – Operations and Finance

Minimum requirements: Matric BCom Finance / BCom Accounting / CA(SA) / CIMA / MBA (with a strong financial focus) or an equivalent financial or management qualification Proven senior management and financial experience, preferably within manufacturing, agriculture, or the animal feed industry Strong financial acumen with advanced analytical and problem-solving skills Sound understanding of production costs and operational finance Key responsibilities: Develop, manage and monitor annual budgets, financial forecasts and long-term financial plans in collaboration with the Managing Director Oversee cost control, margin analysis, profitability and financial performance of the business Conduct financial analysis of production costs, raw materials and operational efficiency Ensure accurate financial reporting, effective internal controls and compliance with financial standards Lead, mentor and support the Financial Manager Oversee daily production and operational activities of the animal feed plant with hands-on involvement Drive process optimisation, efficiency improvements and achievement of production targets Manage operational budgets and coordinate with production, logistics, and procurement teams Ensure compliance with quality, safety and regulatory requirements Consultant: Rene Otte – Dante Personnel Greenstone
