About the Role
Libertas Consultants is seeking a highly skilled Communications Manager to join our team in Pretoria. The successful candidate will be responsible for enhancing the company’s image and reputation through effective media relations, internal communication, and public awareness campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
- Improve and enhance the image of the company by establishing and maintaining excellent media relations.
- Pro-active and well written, regular, and newsworthy press releases to targeted media.
- Timeous, well written and researched replies to media enquiries.
- Proactively respond to media reports when required.
- Facilitate press, radio, and television interviews.
- Coordinate media briefings and other media engagements.
- Review and manage media strategy in terms of budget and schedules.
- Facilitate and coordinate media training for relevant company members, including for the Professional Boards.
- Coordinate and manage all Roadshows and Symposia with other Company Departments.
- Manage and coordinate all Public Awareness Campaigns.
- Implement internal communication strategy, including ad hoc projects.
- Assist with editing and quality control of all written documentation.

- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Proactive approach to media enquiries and reporting.
