Kuruman: Assistant Camp Manager

The ideal candidate will be someone who can confidently support the Camp Manager in the daily operations of the camp. You will be responsible for assisting in smooth service delivery, staff supervision, guest satisfaction, and adherence to reserve standards, conservation principles, and safety procedures. Core Criteria: At least 2-3 years in camp or hospitality operations Tertiary qualification in Hospitality or Tourism, preferred Must have a valid driver’s license Must be computer literacy (MS Office, camp systems) Previous experience working on a game reserve or remote camp is preferred Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills Natural leadership ability with strong team coordination skills Detail-oriented with a solutions-driven mindset Thrives in fast-paced, remote working environments Passionate about wildlife, conservation, and hospitality Core Responsibilities: Support delivery of exceptional guest experiences through professional hosting and service Assist with guest requests, activity coordination, and day-to-day camp operations Oversee camp standards, including cleanliness, presentation, and stock control Support staff supervision, training, scheduling, and team performance Assist with administrative tasks, reporting, and basic financial controls Working Conditions: Live-in position on the game reserve Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays Remote working environment
