About the Role
Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking a dynamic Assistant Reservations Manager for a Luxury Hospitality Group based in Cape Town, Western Cape. This permanent position offers a hybrid working environment with some remote flexibility and comes with a salary range of R37,000 – R40,000 gross (depending on experience). The role focuses on ensuring seamless luxury travel experiences, maintaining strong operational systems, and supporting the team in achieving revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Designing high end itineraries
- Supervising the reservations team
- Monitoring booking performance
- Ensuring system accuracy
- Supporting revenue growth
- Assisting with peak period inventory management
- Maintaining exceptional service standards across all guest journeys
Requirements
- Proven experience in a similar leadership role within luxury hospitality, safari or high end travel
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- A proactive approach to customer service and guest satisfaction
- Ability to mentor and support a reservations team
- Strong negotiation and relationship building skills
- Sales driven mindset with the ability to meet and exceed targets
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Experience with Res Request, Safari Portal and HubSpot advantageous
