About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join our team in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background, excellent fault-finding skills, and the ability to work independently under pressure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine preventative maintenance and emergency breakdown repairs
  • Inspect, diagnose, and troubleshoot mechanical systems and equipment
  • Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety, health, and quality standards
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, reports, and documentation

Requirements

  • Matric (Grade 12) certificate
  • Trade Test Certificate (Fitter / Mechanical)
  • 35 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure
