About the Role
Hire Resolve is seeking an experienced Mechanical Draughtsman to join their team in Pretoria. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing plans and specifications, preparing detailed drawings, and providing technical advice on MEP systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Review plans and specifications according to the plan.
- Prepare plans, details, specifications, and cost estimates of plumbing, heating, ventilating, air conditioning, and general piping system.
- Provide technical advice to staff designer, supervisor, inspector, and contracting service provider regarding installation and maintenance of MEP System.
- Analyze Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing engineering problems and formulate solutions.
- Identify problems in design, planning, management, and delivering multiple projects.
- Plan, organize the review and evaluate work of consultants, contractors, and others.
- Prepare and deliver effective oral presentations whenever required.
Requirements
- 2+ years experience as a Mechanical Draughtsman working with Building services projects.
- 2+ years experience in Design and Draughting of Building services.
- Produce concept, tender, and technical mechanical engineering drawing for commercial buildings, hospitals, data centers, etc.
- Revit MEP 2018 or higher compulsory; minimum 2-year experience.
- Minimum 2 years experience in building service (HVAC).
- Strong Co-ordination skills.
- Draughting diploma will be an advantage.
