A leading Southern African hospitality group seeks a high-caliber Sales Executive to drive revenue across a diverse portfolio of inland and coastal destinations. The successful candidate will proactively target the corporate, MICE, and high-end travel sectors to secure new business and cultivate high-value relationships. This role is for a results-driven professional capable of delivering occupancy growth across a unique blend of wilderness, sport, and coastal luxury offerings. Key Responsibilities Strategic Business Development: Identify and secure new business opportunities within the corporate, MICE, and luxury travel sectors to drive consistent occupancy across the portfolio. Account Management: Nurture and expand high-value relationships with key travel trade partners, tour operators, and corporate procurement teams. Revenue Generation: Negotiate high-level contracts and corporate rate agreements while executing sales strategies to meet and exceed ambitious revenue targets. Brand Representation: Conduct professional site inspections and property showcases, effectively communicating the unique value of the groups wilderness and sporting assets. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Revenue Targets: Achievement of 100% (or greater) of the monthly and annual room night and conferencing revenue targets across the portfolio. New Business Acquisition: A minimum of 25% of monthly revenue generated from newly converted accounts or previously untapped market segments. Sales Activity Volume: Execution of a set number of face-to-face sales meetings and site inspections per week (target to be agreed upon based on region). Lead Conversion Rate: Maintenance of a high conversion ratio from initial inquiry to confirmed booking for group and corporate business. CRM (Central Reservation Management) Integrity: 100% accuracy and up-to-the-minute logging of all sales activities, pipeline leads, and client interactions within the companys reporting system. Experience & Requirements Sector Expertise: 35 years of proven success in hospitality sales, with a specific focus on luxury lodges, resorts, or coastal properties. Established Network: A proven track record of existing relationships with Southern African corporate procurement partners and key international inbound tour operators. Sales Competencies: Advanced negotiation skills and a track record of closing high-value deals in a competitive market. Professional Attributes: A self-motivated professional with elite presentation skills and the flexibility to travel across a diverse geographic property footprint.
