Job Description

Minimum requirements for the role: A Degree or Diploma in Sales, Marketing, Commerce, Business or Supply Chain is preferred for this role. Previous experience having worked within a Sales, Key Accounts, Commercial / Procurement or General Management role. Previous experience in having worked within catering supplies, hospitality equipment, retail, FMCG or distribution is advantageous. Proven experience in negotiation, supplier management, commercial execution and stakeholder engagement. The successful candidate must have a strong commercial acumen with a practical, hands‑on management style. Proven strength in sales operations, coaching, team motivation and performance management. Competence in pricing execution, stock oversight and category implementation. Strong organisational, planning and execution capability. The successful candidate will be responsible for: Driving commercial execution and the consistent delivery of day-to-day sales performance within the company. While the role contributes to commercial planning and direction, its primary focus is operational leadership, practical implementation, and ensuring seamless delivery of sales, customer experience, and commercial outcomes within the hospitality / retail industry. Implementing sales plans, channel activities, call cycles and customer coverage models that support sustained revenue growth. Providing active, field-based support through joint customer visits, opportunity follow-ups and pipeline monitoring. Ensuring high standards of customer service, efficient turnaround on quotations and tenders, and thorough follow-through until order closure. Strengthening customer retention by maintaining proactive relationships with Key Accounts. Tracking performance through weekly activity reviews, KPIs and operational dashboards. Collaborating with Workshop and After‑Sales teams to secure smooth fulfilment and customer satisfaction across the full lifecycle. Executing pricing structures, discount controls and margin protection based on commercial guidelines. Using sales, stock and category data to guide replenishment, promotional decisions, markdowns and clearance actions. Overseeing stock lifecycle management, including rotation, shrinkage mitigation, ageing stock solutions and supplier returns. Strengthening supplier performance through clear communication, structured negotiations, and rebate management. Working closely with Buying, Warehouse, Supply Chain and Finance teams to ensure availability, stock accuracy and operational alignment. Implementing category plans in-store, ensuring accurate assortments, refreshed ranges and merchandising excellence. Coordinating product launches, supplier demos, in-store displays and showroom updates to drive conversion. Maintaining accuracy of product information, pricing and online listings. Supporting the introduction of new products through training, display setup and customer education. Maintaining a high-quality showroom environment aligned with the companies positioning as a one-stop hospitality solutions partner. Ensuring strong visual merchandising standards, correct pricing and intuitive product navigation. Implementing marketing activations, promotional campaigns and supplier-driven events. Responding promptly to digital enquiries and coordinating with marketing to ensure accurate product representation. Using customer insights and feedback to improve service offerings and personalise engagement. Preparing accurate and timely quotations, product specifications, bills of quantities and technical submissions. Liaising with Architects, Engineers, Contractors and Quantity Surveyors to ensure correct product selection and installation readiness. Attending site meetings and supporting project scoping, rollout and installation planning. Coordinating with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of large projects and tenders. Salary package, including benefits, is highly negotiable depending on experience gained.
