Job Description

Hire Resolve, a reputable recruitment agency, is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Conventional Turner to join a well-established company based in Epping. As a Conventional Turner, you will use your expertise in operating conventional lathes and other machinery to create precision parts and components.

Responsibilities:

Set up and operate conventional lathes and other equipment to perform turning operations
Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Select and use appropriate cutting tools and materials for each job
Monitor and control machining processes to ensure product quality and accuracy
Perform routine machine maintenance and cleaning
Adhere to safety and quality standards
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient production and meet deadlines

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Conventional Turner
0.2 Tolerances
Proficient in operating conventional lathes and other turning machinery
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Strong knowledge of machining processes, cutting tools, and materials
Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Relevant trade qualification or certification is preferred
