Job Description
A leading manufacturing company is seeking a highly skilled Financial Manager to oversee its finance function. This role will be pivotal in ensuring accurate group financial reporting and consolidations, driving strategic financial planning, and supporting business growth across multiple entities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the finance function with a focus on group consolidations and reporting.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements for the group.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning for multiple business units.
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and financial risks to optimize operational performance.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, tax regulations, and internal control standards.
- Coordinate internal and external audits.
- Provide insights and recommendations to support executive decision-making.
- Supervise and mentor the finance team, fostering professional development and high performance.
Qualifications & Experience:
- BCompt, BCom (Accounting), or equivalent; CA(SA) preferred.
- Minimum 5 years in a senior finance role within manufacturing or multi-entity environments.
- Proven experience in group financial consolidations and reporting.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, corporate finance, and statutory compliance.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
