About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Area Operations Manager to lead our Nu Health stores across the Cape Town region, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Keeping region stores on budget in terms of sales and controllable cost
- Ensuring administration systems in all applicable regional stores are used and up to date
- Providing National Operations Manager with consolidated reports of financial analysis and other reports
- Ensuring completion of all necessary audits in specific region
- Checking store rosters ensuring that all fall in line with budgets
- Following all BCEA and HR practices at store level, with consultation from the HR Department
- Identifying training needs in region and ensuring they are properly addressed
- Following up on customer complaints and ensuring customer retention
- Conducting regular meetings with area managers to discuss store performance
- Networking with strategic partners in region
- Ensuring all stores in region have maintenance support
- Liaising with suppliers regarding maintenance schedules and equipment concerns
- Communicating supplier stock holding and quality control issues to supply chain manager
- Ensuring all stores in region are 100% operational
- Coordinating the implementation of marketing campaigns, including new openings in region
- Ensuring flawless execution of all marketing campaigns at store level
Requirements
- Grade 12
- Relevant Tertiary Qualification (Degree, Certificate, Diploma) will be an advantage
- Minimum proven 5-year previous restaurant supervisory or retail related management experience
- Fluent in English (Oral and written)
- Proficient Computer literacy (MS Office Suite)
- Own reliable transport and valid driver’s license
