About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Workshop Manager to join our team, responsible for overseeing workshop operations, managing budgets, and ensuring efficient production processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage workshop operations, including scheduling and resource allocation
  • Supervise and train staff, with a focus on safety and quality control
  • Develop and implement operational plans, ensuring cost-effectiveness and productivity
  • Monitor and control costs, maintaining accurate financial records
  • Collaborate with senior management to achieve business objectives

Requirements

  • Matric Workshop Management qualification or related management certification
  • Trade qualification (Millwright / Electrical) preferred or willingness to complete an ARPL process
  • Minimum of 810 years experience in workshop operations
  • At least 3 years in a Foreman or Senior Management role
  • Proven experience in financial and budget management, including cost control
