About the Role
Objective Personnel is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Packer/Filler to join our team in Kempton Park. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for packing finished goods or raw materials into boxes, bags, or other packaging materials according to specific requirements. Key Responsibilities
- Packing Products: Pack finished goods or raw materials into boxes, bags, or other packaging materials according to specific requirements.
- Ensuring Accuracy: Verify that the right products, quantities, and sizes are being packed.
- Sealing and Labeling: Seal packages securely labels, barcodes.
- Inspection for Damage: Inspect the items for damage or defects before packing and report any issues to the supervisor or quality control.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all products meet company standards and specifications before packaging, including checking for proper labeling and correct products.
- Adhering to Safety Regulations: Follow workplace safety standards ensure that the workspace remains clean and hazard-free.
- Tools and Equipment Used:
- Packing materials (boxes, tape, bubble wrap, shrink film, etc.)
- Labeling tools (labeling machines)
- Scales for weighing
- Cartons, crates, or pallets for organizing packed goods
- PPE (personal protective equipment), like gloves and safety glasses
