About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Resident Engineer to join our team at Civilconsult Consulting Engineers Ltd, based in Randfontein CBD. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily progress of civil infrastructure projects, ensuring contract administration and quality control, and providing expert advice on design and engineering matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor contractors’ progress on site on a daily basis
- Refer significant queries on design/engineering matters to the Engineer
- Ensure contract administration and quality control is kept up to date
- Close out projects at the end of the contract duration
Requirements
- National Diploma in Civil Engineering
- More than 6 years of experience in civil infrastructure projects (water, sanitation, storm water and roads)
