About the Role
GAP Consulting is seeking an experienced Audit Senior to join our team in the Western Cape region. As a key member of our audit department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality assurance services to our clients. If you have a strong background in auditing and excellent leadership skills, we would love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct audit planning, execution, and review
- Supervise audit teams and review junior staff work
- Provide technical guidance on IFRS & IFRS for SMEs
- Manage multiple audit engagements and client portfolios
- Engage with clients, managers, and directors
- Utilize advanced CaseWare skills (AFS Drafting and Engagement files)
Requirements
- Completed SAICA Training Contract (Articles)
- Relevant Tertiary Qualification | BCom Accounting / BAcc or similar
- CA(SA) | Advantageous, not essential
- Audit Exposure | Audit Planning, Execution and Review
- Team Supervision | Proven experience supervising audit teams and reviewing junior staff work
- Computer Skills | MS Office | Advanced CaseWare essential (AFS Drafting and Engagement files)
- Technical Knowledge | IFRS & IFRS for SMEs
- Proficient Fluent Afrikaans and English
- Client Management | Managing multiple Audit Engagements and Client Portfolios
- Stakeholder Engagement | Ability to work directly with Clients, Managers, and Directors

- Formal education/certifications (Bachelor’s, LLB, Matric, etc.)
