About the Role
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Shop Assistant to join our team in Cape Town City Centre. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for providing excellent service to our customers, processing transactions accurately and efficiently, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Process cash sales and EFT transactions accurately and efficiently
- Provide friendly and speedy customer services
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a professional manner
- Maintain product knowledge and pricing information
- Manage customer refunds and exchanges with manager authorization
- Perform general housekeeping tasks to maintain store cleanliness and organization
- Assist with general administration tasks as needed
Requirements
- Matric (Basic Maths)
- 1-year Retail Cashier experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Computer Literacy (Word & Excel)
