About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and charismatic Wine Tasting Room Guest Relations / Head Hostess to join our award-winning Franschhoek Wine Estate team. As a key ambassador of our brand, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest experiences, promoting our wines and hospitality, and ensuring seamless daily operations in the Wine Tasting Centre.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with tour bookings and orders
- Manage wine tastings, wine & food pairings, cellar tours, vineyard and estate tours
- Provide top-notch customer service to visitors
- Maintain accurate records of wine centre stocks and retail store supplies
- Process wine centre admin tasks and orders
- Host visitors and promote the estate as an ambassador for our brand
Requirements
- Relevant Wine qualification (WSET or Cape Wine Academy) preferred, but not essential
- Attractive and bubbly personality with lots of energy
- Strong knowledge of food and wines
- Service-oriented and hospitality-focused individual
- Admin and computer proficiency required
- Confident and expressive communicator with excellent English communication skills
