About the Role
We are seeking a confident and experienced Assistant Branch Manager to join our client’s Port Elizabeth branch. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for leading staff supervision and leadership, delivering exceptional customer service excellence, and overseeing daily operations. Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage branch staff to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Lead by example, motivate staff, and support day-to-day team performance
- Handle and resolve escalated or complex customer queries and complaints
- Provide expert customer assistance and build strong, long-term client relationships
- Oversee daily branch operations when required
- Ensure efficient workflows and smooth branch functioning
- Support the Sales Manager with sales initiatives and campaigns when needed
- Assist in driving branch performance and achieving targets
Requirements
- Matric, relevant tertiary qualification, or equivalent working experience
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a management or senior supervisory role with similar responsibilities
- Proven customer service expertise
- Strong leadership and delegation capabilities
- Excellent attention to detail and administrative skills
- Demonstrated analytical and decision-making abilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Excel, Outlook, and other relevant computer systems
