Job Description
Overview of Main Tasks/Scope:
- Inserting of all active purchase orders, blanket purchase orders, SLAs, leases, and vendor agreements into excel tracking matrix
- Assistance with procurement activities in accordance with USG and Pact rules and regulations; to include preparation of applicable agreements, modifications/amendments and supporting documentation (i.e. negotiation memos)
- Assistance with implementation of Internal Control Review (ICR) recommendations and particularly with development and implementation of asset management policy
- Cleaning up of operations filing based on revised filing protocol provided
- Clean-up of Vodacom account and management of all telecommunications devices within the office
- Dealing with building management on any office related / maintenance matters brought up by employees
- Renegotiating insurance (including re-competition if required) to ensure all assets properly covered
Reporting to the Operations Director
Essential Requirements (do not send CVs that do not meet this requirements)
- 5+ years working in the field of Operations
- Experience working in the NGO/Public sector with a preference for having worked under USAID/USG funded programs
- Demonstrated understanding of procurement and asset management processes (must provide clear examples in CV)
Timeframe:
- 4-6 months – start date 1-Feb-2017
Working Hours:
- Monday – Thursday: 8am to 5pm (1 hour lunch)
- Friday: 8am to 1pm

Salary – Market related
