About the Role
Dis-Chem Pharmacies is seeking an experienced Employee Benefits Team Leader to join their team in Midrand on a 4-month fixed-term contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and administering payroll functions, ensuring compliance with Dis-Chem’s business requirements and strategic operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Capture medical aid deductions on SAP
- Respond to benefits queries
- Ensure Indemnity forms are sent to employees
- Process Funeral, Death, Disability, Retirement, Withdrawal or Divorce claims
- Distribute name badges and medical aid cards to employees in a timely manner
- Follow up with stores regarding outstanding or incorrect documents
- Inform management of discrepancies related to systems, documentation, or hours worked
- Attend to assigned heat calls daily
- Escalate unresolved problems or concerns to the Payroll Benefits Team Leader
Requirements
- Grade 12 Matric or Senior Certificate
- Minimum of 3-4 years administrative experience
- Minimum of 2 years management experience
