About the Role
Our client is looking for a detail-driven and operationally strong Sales Support Supervisor to lead their sales support function within a fast-paced stone manufacturing environment. This role is critical in ensuring that all quotations, orders, and invoices for marble, granite, and quartz products are accurately prepared, correctly costed, and aligned with company pricing and margin requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and oversee the Sales Support team responsible for stone quotations and orders.
- Review and approve quotations for marble, granite, quartz, tombstones, cutting, polishing, and fabrication services.
- Ensure measurements, materials, finishes, thicknesses, and lead times are accurately reflected on quotations.
- Capture and verify WhatsApp, telephonic, email, and walk-in orders timeously and accurately.
- Assist with complex or high-value quotations and custom orders.
- Oversee invoicing processes in Sage One Accounting, ensuring pricing, VAT, and quantities are correct.
- Ensure cash payments and proof of payment are verified before order release.
- Enforce company financial controls related to cash handling and dispatch release.
- Liaise with Factory and Dispatch to coordinate production, collections, and deliveries.
- Monitor order progress and resolve delays between departments.
- Maintain accurate records of quotations, orders, invoices, and customer interactions.
- Assist management with operational and performance reporting.
Requirements
- Matric.
- Relevant experience in sales support or supervision within a manufacturing environment.
- Previous experience in the granite, marble, and quartz industry (advantageous).
- Proficiency in English and at least one African language.
- Experience working with Sage One Accounting or similar systems.
- Strong understanding of pricing structures, margins, and invoicing controls.
- Ability to supervise and guide a team effectively.

R12 000 per month. Working Hours: Monday Friday 08:00 – 17:00 (1-hour lunch); Saturday 08:00 – 13:00.
