- A BCom in Accounting (or similar qualification)
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a financial accounting role
- Strong Excel and SAP skills (intermediate to advanced)
- Solid understanding of financial statements, reporting, and controls
- High attention to detail with a process-driven mindset
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
- A valid, unendorsed driver’s license
- Team-player attitude with excellent time management
Bonus points for:
- SAP ERP experience – ESSENTIAL
- Exposure to shared services environments
- Strong reconciliation and analytical skills
- Experience with tax (VAT, WHT, income tax) and foreign currency
What you’ll be doing:
- Managing month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
- Preparing journals, accruals, and reconciliations with precision
- Maintaining fixed asset and lease registers
- Producing monthly reporting packs and financial insights
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and audit processes
- Identifying process improvements and driving efficiencies
- Working closely with Controllers and internal departments
- Handling ad hoc projects and finance-related requests
