About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Configuration Management Engineer to join our team in Cape Town City Centre. As a key member of our RAN design and execution team, you will play a critical role in translating design intent into configuration and ensuring seamless operation across a live multi-vendor environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate RAN design baseline documents into implementable configuration policies.
- Configure and maintain baseline policies within policy-driven platforms.
- Execute configuration changes directly within Ericsson or Nokia OSS/NMS environments.
- Support datafill and parameter deployment across 2G, 4G, and 5G networks.
- Develop and maintain Python-based automation workflows for configuration enforcement.
- Configure and support closed loop automation mechanisms.
- Perform baseline compliance checks and drive remediation across the network.
Requirements
- Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Required Experience: Strong experience in RAN Configuration Management.
- Hands-on experience with Ericsson or Nokia OSS tools.
- Deep understanding of 4G and 5G network parameters.
- Experience with datafill and live network changes.
- Working knowledge of SQL and Python.
- Exposure to scripting or automation tools.
