New Business Developer (Security Technology) – POS26182 Location: Randburg Salary : R25 – 30 000.00 pm commission Our client is seeking a high-octane, “hunter-profile” New Business Developer to spearhead the growth of our cutting-edge Security Technology portfolio. This role is designed for a self-motivated professional who thrives in a fast-paced B2B environment and possesses a deep understanding of security solutions—ranging from AI-integrated surveillance and access control to enterprise-level cybersecurity frameworks. The successful candidate will be responsible for converting cold prospects into long-term strategic partners. Qualifications Minimum 5 years of successful external B2B sales experience, with at least 2 years specifically within Security Technology (CCTV, Access Control, Perimeter Security, or Cybersecurity). Solid understanding of the technical specifications and integration capabilities of modern electronic security hardware and software. An existing portfolio of corporate contacts or a demonstrated ability to build a high-value network from Certifications in Security Systems or Sales Methodologies (e.g., SPIN, Miller Heiman) are an advantage. Own vehicle (Essential for site visits and client meetings). A “hunter” mindset with the stamina to handle long sales cycles and the persistence to overcome gatekeepers and objections. Ability to communicate in high-level business English, delivering polished, persuasive presentations to executive boards. Capable of translating complex technical jargon into value-based business language for non-technical decision-makers. Key Performance Areas (KPAs) Strategic Prospecting: Identify and penetrate new market segments, specifically targeting large-scale commercial, industrial, and retail enterprises. Consultative Solution Selling: Conduct deep-dive discovery sessions to understand client pain points and engineer bespoke Pipeline Velocity Management: Proactively manage the full sales lifecycle.
