About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced General Manager to lead our hospitality team in Bloemfontein. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing various aspects of our operations, including staff management, financial management, and guest service. If you have a proven track record in hospitality management and excellent leadership skills, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee 6 departments
- Lead a team of ±45 staff members, including the management team
- Conduct game drives and guest activities
- Oversee and facilitate large-scale functions
- Maintain high levels of emotional intelligence
- Foster a service-driven culture within the team
- Develop and implement staff planning, training, and development strategies
Requirements
- Matric Certification
- Diploma in Management, Hospitality, or related qualification
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Afrikaans and English
- Strong HR experience and dealing with disciplinaries
- Proven financial management experience
- Experience with property maintenance and facilities upkeep
