About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead our luxury safari camp’s culinary team in the heart of the Maasai Mara National Reserve. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for creating unforgettable dining experiences that showcase your creativity and passion for fine cuisine.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead kitchen operations, stock, and controls
- Manage a team of 12–15 kitchen staff
- Develop and implement menus that meet the highest standards of luxury hospitality
- Provide exceptional guest service in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless execution of events and activities
Requirements
- Strong luxury hospitality experience
- Hands-on approach in the kitchen
- Confident in a guest-facing role
- Proven leadership and management skills
- Ability to oversee kitchen operations, stock, and controls
Qualifications
- Formal education/certifications (if applicable)
Salary & Benefits
$3,500 – $4,000 nett
