Job Description
This role is ideal for a CA(SA) who has survived articles, earned their stripes, and is now ready to deepen their exposure to US reporting, consolidation, and group finance in a supportive but demanding environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Monthly close and reconciliations for US and European entities
- Preparing management packs for nonSA operations
- Actual vs budget analysis
- Group monthly consolidations
- Weekly exchange rate reporting
- US tax return schedules and monthly payment preparation
- US GAAP accounting memos
- SOX documentation and liaison with auditors
- Annual and quarterly financial statements and press releases
- And, of course, those “other duties” that keep finance interesting
Job Experience and Skills Required:
- Qualified CA(SA) (essential)
- 1–3 years postarticles experience
- Big 4 training (highly advantageous)
- Exposure to US reporting (audit or industry experience preferred)
- Comfortable working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines
- Strong technical accounting knowledge
- Solid Excel skills
- Good attention to detail (numbers notice when you don’t)
- Ability to communicate clearly across teams and time zones
- Willingness to work hard and learn fast
- Strong work ethic and resilience
- Johannesburgbased (officebased role)
- Immediate availability preferred
