About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Internal Sales and Customer Relations Co-ordinator to join our team on a 6-month temporary assignment. As a key member of our sales and customer service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer experience, managing sales activities, and ensuring seamless order fulfilment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare quotations as per customer request via email and telephone calls.
- Liaise with Suppliers for pricing and availability.
- Process purchase on Supplier online platforms.
- Assist walk-in customers in the onsite tool shop.
- Upload Customer PODs daily to Cloud server.
- Cross-check monthly supplier statements and ensure accurate capture of invoices in Sage Pastel.
- Account for supplier invoices to be filled and submitted to finance monthly.
- Upload key account customer’s PODs to their portal to ensure timeous payments.
- Provide finance department daily with credit/debit card payment allocations.
- Confirm with finance department all eft payment have cleared into the bank account before releasing customer orders.
- Coordinate urgent orders and ensure priority handling where required.
- Work closely with warehouse/logistics to ensure accurate and timely order fulfilment.
- Monitor stock availability and communicate shortages proactively.
- Assist with quarterly and year-end stock counts.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years proven internal sales and customer liaison experience.
- Tools and hardware experience is advantageous.
- Self-motivated, results-driven must be able to work independently and in a small team.
- Service-oriented and strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise sales activities effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and can resolve customer queries quickly and effectively.
- Strong Interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
No formal education or certifications are required for this role. However, proficiency in Sage Pastel 50 is mandatory.
