About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Financial Administrator to join our team in Pretoria. As a key member of our finance unit, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring timely reconciliation of customer billing processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process (mainly cashbook)
  • Verify that transactions are recorded in the correct suppliers ledger, customer ledger, cashbook, and general ledger
  • Ensure timely reconciliation of the customer billing process
  • Perform weekly cashflow and submit for approval
  • Process payments on the banking system for approval
  • Assist debtors and creditors administrators with reconciliations
  • Assist debtors and creditors administrators with customer and supplier queries
  • Perform debit order reconciliation and journal processing
  • Review debtor and creditor age analysis
  • Review and approve corrections to be done by debtors and creditors administrators

Requirements

  • Matric
  • Minimum 2 years working experience in a finance unit performing bookkeeper responsibilities (telecommunications industry beneficial)
  • Certificate/Diploma in bookkeeping beneficial
  • Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles
  • Ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records
  • Ability to perform tasks on Excel
  • Previous experience in accounting software, Pastel Evolution

About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Financial Administrator to join our team at People Dimension. As a key member of our administrative support, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our financial functions, including submission of CIPC Annual Returns, Beneficial Ownership Register reports, and payroll processing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Submission of CIPC Annual Returns
  • Submission of Beneficial Ownership Register (BOR) reports
  • Payroll processing
  • Basic bookkeeping (Pastel knowledge would be an advantage)
  • Filing and general administrative duties
  • Collecting information from clients
