About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliable, secure, and efficient operation of our organisation’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and systems. This role is critical in maintaining business continuity, system performance, and data security.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain servers, networks, and applications
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues
- Perform regular backups and implement disaster recovery processes
- Manage user access, permissions, and software licensing
- Support security compliance and IT governance initiatives
- Provide end-user support and resolve internal IT queries
- Maintain system documentation and enforce IT policies
- Configure and maintain networking infrastructure (routers, switches, and firewalls)
- Participate in after-hours standby support
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies aligned to business needs
Requirements
- Linux Certification (essential)
- RedHat or LPI Certification (essential)
- Minimum 2 years experience in Linux administration
- Solid understanding of networking and server hardware
- Experience with Office 365 administration
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and in high-pressure environments
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- High attention to detail and security awareness
