About the Role
Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an experienced Lodge Anchor to oversee guest services and hosting during a maternity cover period at our luxury lodge in Sabi Sands. The ideal candidate will be a confident hospitality professional with strong food and beverage background, passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Hosting guests and ensuring their stay meets and exceeds expectations
- Assisting with restaurant and bar stock control
- Overseeing restaurant staff with regard to management, training, and service standards
- Filling in for the Assistant Lodge Manager during cycle leave as required
Requirements
- Friendly, professional personality with strong hosting and interpersonal skills
- Proven experience hosting international guests within a luxury hospitality environment
- Strong organisational, time management, and attention-to-detail skills
- Passion for the natural environment and sustainability
- Strong food and beverage or guest services background, with both being advantageous
- Sound knowledge of food and beverage, particularly wine, cigars, and cheese
