About the Role

Odin is building the future of education in South Africa by connecting forward-thinking corporates with high-impact education solutions and growing a rapidly expanding client base. We aim to triple our client base within two years and are seeking a youthful, energetic Business Development Associate to join us. This role requires a commercial acumen individual who can connect with the right people at the right companies, identify genuine opportunities, and contribute to an ambitious team shaping how corporates invest in education in South Africa.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct structured virtual discovery calls with inbound corporate leads
Qualify prospects against defined criteria
Communicate the Odin value proposition clearly and confidently
Accurately assess and record where each prospect is in their decision-making process
Escalate live, ready-to-engage opportunities to the Business Development Lead
Maintain an organized, up-to-date pipeline of all contacts and conversations
Attend in-person meetings in Johannesburg as required
Identify additional opportunities that emerge through conversation

Requirements

12 years of experience in a commercial, sales, account management, or client-facing role
Comfortable and confident conducting professional meetings over video call
Strong listening skills and natural curiosity
Well-organised, with the ability to manage a pipeline and follow through consistently
Professional presentation and written communication
