Lodge Manager | Luxury Safari Lodge | Greater Kruger Salary: R20;000 Accommodation: Live-in Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced and hands-on Lodge Manager for a luxury safari lodge in the Greater Kruger area. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong all-rounder to take full responsibility for lodge operations while delivering exceptional guest experiences and leading a motivated team. The successful candidate will oversee all departments, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, high service standards, and effective team management within a remote bush environment. Minimum Requirements: Proven experience in lodge or hospitality management within a luxury environment Strong leadership and people management skills Excellent organisational and administrative abilities Solid financial acumen, including stock and cost control Ability to work under pressure and adapt in a remote environment Exceptional guest service and interpersonal skills Professional, proactive, and hands-on approach Willingness to work on a 3/1 week cycle Key Responsibilities: Oversee all lodge operations including guest services, housekeeping, laundry, and front of house Manage reservations, guest bookings, and enquiries professionally Plan and manage staff schedules to ensure efficient operations Lead, train, and motivate staff, fostering a positive and productive team culture Maintain high standards of service, cleanliness, and lodge presentation Manage stock control, procurement, and inventory processes Oversee basic financial administration and record keeping Collaborate with the kitchen team on menu planning and guest dining experiences Handle guest feedback, complaints, and special requests promptly and professionally Ensure compliance with health, safety, and operational standards Report on lodge performance and implement improvements where required This is an ideal opportunity for a dedicated hospitality professional looking to take ownership of a luxury lodge and grow within a dynamic safari environment.
