About the Role

As a Junior QS Surveyor at Durpro Workforce Solutions, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy of estimates and quotes issued to clients. You will work closely with the sales team and customers to gather correct specifications, assist with quotations and estimates, and maintain various filing systems and CRM systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the accuracy of all estimates and quotes issued by clients.
  • Liaise with the sales team and customers to understand and receive correct specifications.
  • Assist Sales Team with Quotations & Estimates.
  • Create accurate and complete quotes/estimations from information received via RFQs, tender requests, and drawings.
  • Update and maintain filing systems for the effectiveness of the Estimating Office.
  • Maintain the CRM system for admin details relating to customers.
  • Prepare detailed cost estimate reports.
  • Evaluate project cost effectiveness or profitability.
  • Collect quotes from material suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors.
  • Work with the sales team to prepare estimates for bids/tenders to clients.
  • Attend walk-in panel sales and handle technical sales.
  • Process works orders and liaise with the factory and coordinate deliveries sites and clients.
  • Breakdown scope of work into definable tasks and create job numbers on Syspro.
  • Perform other miscellaneous tasks to support the estimating/operations departments and general sales administration.
