About the Role
We are seeking a skilled PET Plastic Blow Moulding Technician to join our team at Ultra Personnel in Gauteng. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for performing mechanical fault finding and repairs on production equipment, maintaining and repairing various machinery, and contributing to the overall efficiency of our manufacturing process.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform mechanical fault finding and repairs on production equipment
- Maintain and repair:
- Injection moulding machines
- Blow moulding machines
- Work on: Hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Assist with:
- Mould changes and setups
- Basic mould maintenance
- Carry out preventive maintenance (inspection, lubrication, part replacement)
- Respond to breakdowns and minimise downtime
- Identify root causes of recurring issues and suggest improvements
Requirements
- Trade-tested Fitter & Turner or equivalent experience
- Plastics / blow moulding / injection moulding industry experience will secure
- Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Understanding of: Hydraulics and Pneumatics
- Comfortable using workshop tools and measuring equipment
