About the Role
We are seeking a junior Buyer with an entrepreneurial mindset to join our South African FMCG Powerhouse as a fully remote position based in China. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for sourcing suppliers at the best rates and contributing to strategic procurement decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Source, negotiate, and manage FMCG suppliers in China.
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships.
- Ensure timely procurement and delivery of quality products.
- Collaborate with the South African team to align procurement strategy with business objectives.
- Monitor market trends and identify new sourcing opportunities.
Requirements
- Fluent in Mandarin and English essential
- Recent graduate or final-year student in a relevant field – Supply Chain Management/Procurement or Business Administration/International Business studies
- Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
