About the Role
Pronel Consultants is seeking an experienced and results-driven Quality Manager to join our team within the manufacturing sector. This role is critical in ensuring that all products meet the highest quality standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the quality control function across the production process
- Ensure all raw materials, especially leather, meet required quality standards
- Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality specifications
- Investigate and resolve technical and quality-related issues in manufacturing
- Ensure finished products meet customer requirements and industry standards
- Maintain and enforce adherence to ISO quality standards and internal procedures
- Liaise with suppliers on quality concerns and continuous improvement initiatives
- Support production teams with technical expertise and problem-solving
- Manage, train, and supervise quality control staff
- Drive continuous improvement and stay updated on industry developments
Requirements
Relevant qualification in Quality Management, Production, or related field
Proven experience in the leather or footwear (shoe) manufacturing industry
Strong knowledge of quality management systems, including ISO 9001
35 years experience in a quality or technical management role
Strong leadership and team management skills
