About the Role
Our client operates mission-critical infrastructure and is looking for a Financial Manager who thrives in fast-moving, high-volume environments. This role goes beyond reporting – you’ll partner closely with leaders, manage revenue at scale, and lead a finance team through complex operational challenges. You’ll be trusted to take ownership, challenge constructively, and step into executive-level conversations while staying hands-on. Key Responsibilities
- Own financial performance for a key legal entity
- Manage revenue, billing, and collections at scale
- Lead client-facing discussions around queries and escalations
- Support commercial decisions through pricing and contract input
- Perform hands-on finance work including reconciliations and analysis
- Lead and develop a multisite finance team
- Engage with senior stakeholders across finance, sales, and operations
- Ensure IFRS compliance, with a strong focus on IFRS 16
Requirements
- CTA / Honors or equivalent
- CA(SA) or CIMA beneficial
- 4+ years in a Financial Manager role
- Solid technical accounting foundation
- Strong IFRS knowledge, IFRS 16 experience required
- Proven experience managing people and stakeholders
- Advanced Excel and data-driven thinking
- Clear communicator with confidence in senior forums
- Problemsolver who performs well under pressure
