About the Role
The HR Manager position at iStaff (Pty) Ltd is a critical role that requires an experienced professional to develop and implement comprehensive HR strategies aligned with the organization’s business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR, preferably with a degree in HR or Industrial Psychology, and extensive experience in managing teams and driving organizational change.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive HR development strategy aligned with the organization’s business objectives.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to identify key skills and competencies required for future growth.
- Lead the design and delivery of programs that drive employee engagement, retention, and career development.
- Oversee talent management programs, including succession planning, leadership development, and performance management.
- Develop strategies for identifying high-potential employees and ensuring they are prepared for future leadership roles.
- Implement initiatives that enhance diversity, equity, and inclusion across the organization.
- Lead the creation and execution of learning and development programs, including workshops, seminars, e-learning, and mentoring.
- Ensure that training programs are aligned with the organization’s goals and effectively address skills gaps.
- Measure the impact of learning initiatives and continuously improve programs based on feedback and outcomes.
- Develop and implement employee engagement strategies to enhance job satisfaction and organizational commitment.
- Foster a culture of continuous feedback and recognition.
- Monitor employee engagement levels through surveys and other tools and take action to address areas of concern.
- Drive organizational change initiatives, including culture transformation and change management processes.
- Ensure that all HR development programs comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends in human resources development and incorporate best practices into the organization.
- Oversee the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures related to employee development.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the HR development team, ensuring they have the necessary skills and resources to achieve their objectives.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
- Set clear performance expectations and provide regular feedback.
Requirements
- Grade 12
- HR / IOP Degree (Honors or Master’s Degree preferred)
- At least 10 years of HR experience
- At least 5 years of experience in a management role
- Experience dealing with CCMA and Labour Brokers
- Experience from the food and beverage industry beneficial
